    Kevin,

    INSPIRTUS is awesome!

And I really like your choice of wood.

Got it finally. I read it a few times and got out my handy dandy Chip Carving Essentials book for a reference. Then I had one of the aha moments where it all made sense. Thanks for covering that, it really was helpful!

    Thank you Marty!

I guess my next purchase will be the instant center finder. 🙂

    I finished Lesson 4!

I am so pleased with the results! I never thought I would ever be able to do the letter “B”. As you can guess it is a letter I definitely need because of my name.

I have learned a better grip on the knife that helps me to achieve better cuts. Not that I was doing incorrectly, but with fine tuning I am improved what I was already doing.

    Welcome Fred,

I have been doing for a while now. The hardest part, in my opinion, is being too hard on yourself. Just realize it take practice and patience. Try to learn from your mistakes. Self-evaluate not to criticize yourself, but to understand what went wrong and how to correct it. You will be doing work that makes you smile from ear to ear in no time.

    Good luck

    David
