This small plaque (actually one half of a napkin holder), stained basswood, represents the cross of my brother’s community (The Disciples of the Hearts of Jesus and Mary). We brainstormed about the sides and came up with the branches, suggesting the cross as the Tree of Life. I liked interrupting the thin frame line by two small diamonds above and below the cross.
