    It is so interesting to notice how the message of the design of this rosette changes, depending on your viewing angle: dynamic and dramatic with the diamond, peaceful and solid with the square. I was particularly happy with this carving, as I managed to glue back two chips after chipout (initially I thought I would leave the rosette with those faults, but, upon encouragement to try to fix them, I was very please with the result).
