New Pattern/chip idea

I want to clarify that this is probably not original to me, although I did think it up in my mind and carved it. I love old world style chips, and I wanted to incorporate OWS and regular chips. i came up with this carving. I love the different levels of depth to it. Marty, if you have any suggestions about how I can get a cleaner cut, please let me know. I’m finding a lot of times I have to go back in and recut my chips and sometimes I end up nicking the ezboard while doing that.

I didn’t take my time like I should have on this. I wanted to see what these would look like side by side. I’d love to see you do this set of chips/pattern, Marty. Here’s my too fast attempt.

A sharp knife is crucial whether carving EZboard or basswood.

Good work experimenting with different combinations and arrangements of chips!
