Hello everyone
To try chipcarving this very special Swiss Pine Wood (Pinus Cembra; just grows in the Alps and the Carpathian Mountains) i purchased two little boards with a local furniture retailer and cabinetmaker specialised in this type of wood. As promised I showed him the outcome a while ago (if you’d like to see the result klick here < https://mychipcarving.com/forums/topic/letters-pattern-swiss-pine-wood/#post-100008445 >). Because of that I’m becoming commissioned work to do from this business, more and more. He’s given me to chipcarve chair’s backrests and boxes he joins as a carpenter and other stuff he sells to his clients …
Some of them are already assembled. Unfortunately. It’s quite a pain somewhere to chipcarve the blade’s right angle if one’s hand has nowhere to lean on because there’s already something in the way … But who cares. It’s doable if there’s will 😉
Kind regards from Switzerland!
