Hello everyone.  My name is David Wilkins & I live in Oklahoma (USA).  I am new to chip carving.  I have been carving an occasional whimsy for over 10 years and purchased chip carving knives sometime back but haven’t used them until Marty’s coaster video was featured by Woodcarving Illustrated.  The video peaked my interest and got me started.  At this point I’m still in the exploration stage but my “wanter” has kicked in and I can picture myself doing future pieces for family & friends (after a good bit of Marty’s training that is!).
