Well, Santa did bring me the Diamond Deluxe knife kit, and I have started using it along with the videos.
I want to give a shout out to Marty and his knives – they are excellent tools, as well as beautiful, and really help in get better cuts. I am still figuring out exactly how to hold the knifes in my big hand, and thinking about wrapping part of the handle with foam tape, but the handles are so pretty!!! I’m getting there…
Carving the EZBoard that came in the kit is really helping refine technique – the photo is a rosette from the Essentials pattern that is much better than my earlier attempts. Looking forward to doing the Deliberate Practice course to help refine my techniques – the essentials course has already helped a bunch.
