    Hi there!!!

My name is Diana. I was looking at whittling books as well as chip carving books.  When I tried to do the carving literally a week ago I was so down about it I couldn’t the 3 sides chips to pop. Frustration for me mainly leads to quitting, but I love the way chip carving works and the results are amazing. I am already drawing patterns and I went and got the platinum membership so I can get amazing with the carving. I do have a question I know the classes are free with a membership, but do you get all the items to actually do the classes, like the patterns, practice board, etc.

I am a grandma of 3 awesome grandkids. I am disabled and was looking for a hobby that I can do easily.

    Thank you for having me!!!

    HI Diana,

So glad you didn’t quit when you were frustrated. You’ve come to the right place to learn this great craft!!

You need to start with the Chip Carving Essentials Course. Boards and other items for this Course and other Courses are separate purchases.

Here’s the link for Course Boards – https://mychipcarving.com/product-category/courses-blanks-with-patterns-applied/

Thank you for the warm welcome, Marty. I am fixing to work on applying the patterns to the practice boards and work on the essentials. I have to use carbon paper to transfer the patterns, because I didn’t make it to the library today, but will try tomorrow. I have, sort of, the transfer tool, since I did some pyrography before I fell in love with chip carving. I went got 2 lazy susans one for the garage one for the house so I can transfer patterns easier.

    Thanks again!

    God bless!

    Diana

Ps: The picture on my profile is a picture of an eye I drew.
