I posted this on FaceBook, but maybe there is more help here.

    I need some help please.
I carved the lettering on this 10″ plate. At a distance all who have commented said it looks good, however, when you look closely, I have a lot of chatter in letters with curves. Also, the angle is not consistent.
What can I do to improve the carving? Thanks

    .

    Neil,

I have been chip-craving off and on for years and still have difficulties. I know that what I need to do is practice and more practice but with instructions by Marty. I was searching for this when I found your post.  If I find the video I will let you know.  Russ @ russ1946

    Neil,

I just found some old practice boards with different the 26 letters in Capital and lower case letters of the alphabet. They also have numbers 1-9. So once I find the video done by Marty I could send these practice boards to you if you wish.  Russ @russ1946

Thanks Russ, but no need to send the practice boards. The video link would be appreciated.

The easiest way to locate video in the Video Archive is to use the Search bar.
Use “Lettering” and “Font” individually and that will bring up all of the videos I’ve created to date
    Happy carving!
