Dear fellow chip carvers
I’m a Typographer/Graphic Designer, age 62, self employed for over 30 years (ongoing), living in a small town near Davos, Switzerland.
I started with chip carving a little over two years ago (self-taught). My first “work” was a knife-handle with beechwood.
About Marty’s mychipcarving.com and his wonderful knives I heard first on YouTube more than a year ago. In that video he showed the correct way to hold the knive in the right angle … Now he invited me to share some of my Instagram-stuff with you guys here in his forum. I sure appreciate it, because Marty’s handy tips over in Instagram were more than once that step over the hill for me, when i was just at a complete loss with some details.
