My first attempt at a rosette. I realized a few mistakes part way through each step. I also think I need better lighting. It has been way too warm to carve outside. I found my compound became super soft when applying to the strop. I sure have a lot to learn!
I wish my first rosette had looked as good as yours! Well done – keep at it. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you improve.
