Good thoughts, Neil. I’ll be carving about 30 of these ornaments in the months ahead and I plan on cutting them out first. Most years I’ll carve them on the full board first. But as Neil mentioned, this year I’ll carve them already cut out so I can easily get the low angle with my knife carving the Old World Style.
