I just started this 10″ rim plate for a wedding gift the end of the month.
Here’s what I leisurely carved tonight

Here’s the positive image area carved this morning . What could be more fun!
I finished the wedding plate but not in time to get it to them before the actual day. This way they’ll appreciate it more, right! Comments are always welcome.
I can get basswood picture frames complete with glass and easel stand backer for you to carve, just like Gary did in the previous post.
To make this feasible I’ll need to know how many of you are interested in frames?
Most likely I’d stock the common sizes like 4×6, 5×7, 8×10 and 10×12.
Would you like to carve some frames? Let me know!
Hey all! I thought you’d enjoy reading and seeing what Gary shared with me. He has done a great job adapting patterns and putting them to good use on a variety of items. I hope this inspires you!
I just saw your latest newsletter and it has the 2016 Christmas ornament in it. I was using a previous year’s pattern and they were coming out just okay. I really like this new pattern and plan on giving it a try today or tomorrow. Thanks for keeping us challenged!
